Whether you need to replace an aging stock 4 barrel carb or are looking for a performance 4 barrel carb to top off your hot rod, the Edelbrock Performer Series carbs are the best choice for performance and value. All Edelbrock products are proudly made in the U. And larger engines with Edelbrock Performer manifolds and other brands of similar design, these four barrel carbs are recommended only for stock to Performer level applications. They are not recommended for use on RPM or Torker II intake manifolds.

This carb replaced a 600 Edelbrock on a 400 cubic inch sbc and cured the backfire through the carb, even after a rebuild kit & re-jetting and new metering rods that were recommended by Edelbrock customer service on the 600. They said also that the 600 wasn't enough for the engine. Allowed a reduction in timing also.
