Genuine Ford Factory Original FRONT FRAME CROSSMEMBER. This factory crossmember fits the 1954 Ford, and the 1954-56 Mercury. This does NOT fit the 1955-56 Ford. If you need a crossmember for one of these cars, I have one in a separate listing. Was removed from a dry western car over 35 years ago, and stored inside. Is rock solid, with no rust or weak spots in it. The crossmember fits the'54 Ford as it sits with the engine steady rest on the top. To use on a'54-6 Mercury, remove the steady rest, and weld your original radiator mount in place. The placement for the radiator mount on the'54 Mercury is at the back edge, and in the center for the'55-6 Mercury. Nothing will fit your car like a genuine Ford part.
