This is a new B. Lack Powder Coated 8 Dual Power Brake Booster, Cast Iron Master Cylinder with Mounting Bracket and Pedal Rod Extension Kit along with a new Adjustable Proportioning Valve and two Residual Pressure Valves for 1957-72 Full Size Ford Cars and Trucks with Drum Brakes in Front and Rear. BCK-148 + PROP1 + RED VALVE x2.

The black powder coated 8 dual power brake booster, master cylinder, and bracket fits a wide range of Ford Cars & Trucks made from 1957-72. Black 8 Dual Diaphragm Power Brake Booster. Cast Iron "Corvette" Style Master Cylinder with Bail Top and 1 Bore.

Adjustable In-line Brake Proportioning Valve. 10 lb Residual Brake Pressure Valves.

Heavy Duty Black Powder Coated Firewall Mounting Brackets with 3-3/8 Square. Truck Booster Linkage Rod (3/8-24 Thread) w/ Grease Fitting. In some cases, you won't need all of the components that are supplied, you may only need the brackets without the linkage & use the pedal rod extension provided.

Cast Iron "Corvette" Style Bail Top. 9/16" and 1/2" Ports on both sides with plugs for ports that you don't use. Applications include, but not limited to. 1957-72 Ford Truck (Remove Linkage, Use Brackets & Pedal Rod Extension). 1964-66 Mustang / Cougar (Works on Manual Transmissions Only). The adjustable proportioning valve is designed to be installed in the brake line, in order to adjust pressure in the brake system to keep the brakes from locking or engaging too soon. Large knurled knob for adjusting to your specifications. Adjustable between 100 and 1,000 psi.

Reduce pressure up to 57 percent. 1/8 NPT Inlet and outlet. Mounting holes pre-drilled for vertical or horizontal installation. Includes brass inverted flare adapters for your brake lines. The red in-line pressure valves retain a minimum brake line pressure to help eliminate excessive pedal travel in drum brake systems.

With drum brakes, a ten pound valve is used to compensate for return spring tension in the drums. Residual Pressure Valves are made from billet aluminum and color coded for easy identification. The Power Brake Booster included in this package is considered to be "UNIVERSAL" and is not intended to be a direct factory replacement for cars that already had power brakes, since modifications would be necessary. It also will not work with an original Ford Master Cylinder that typically will have a 80 MM bolt hole spacing.

This is designed to work with a master cylinder that has 3-3/8 center to center spacing. It may also be necessary to cut the end of the booster rod to work with the bracket... Also, does not fit Ford Fairlane.
