As a basic overview of what is required, here are the steps for Universal lift kit installation. Raise vehicle and remove wheels. Disconnect the shock and carefully release tension on the suspension.

Remove the springs and compress. Reinstall the springs with the lift cups on top or bottom. Reconnect the suspension parts including shocks. The installation manual is obviously much more detailed and gives you the entire process including photos. For example, when lifting the front of the car more than an inch or two, your tire will tend to tilt inwards at the top. This is called "negative camber" and can be corrected by using our extended front control arms.
